🥙 Litti with Bite3 Meal Masala

Ingredients

  • Bite3 Meal Sattu Litti Masala – 100 g (1 packet)

  • Whole wheat flour – 2 cups

  • Water – as needed

  • Ghee or oil – for brushing/baking/frying

  • Lemon juice – 1 tsp (optional for tang)


Step-by-Step Method

1️⃣ Prepare the Dough

  1. Take 2 cups whole wheat flour in a mixing bowl.

  2. Add a pinch of salt and 1 tsp oil/ghee.

  3. Gradually add water and knead into a soft dough.

  4. Cover and rest for 10 minutes.


2️⃣ Prepare the Filling

  1. Empty the Bite3 Meal Sattu Litti Masala into a bowl.

  2. Add 2–3 tbsp water and mix well to make a moist stuffing.

  3. (Optional) Add chopped onion, green chili, or coriander for extra flavor.


3️⃣ Shape the Litti

  1. Divide dough into small balls.

  2. Flatten each ball into a disc.

  3. Place 1–2 tbsp filling in the center.

  4. Seal edges and roll gently into a ball.


4️⃣ Cooking Options

🔥 Traditional (Roasting on Coal/Grill)

  • Roast on medium heat till evenly browned.

  • Brush with ghee before serving.

🍳 Pan Method

  • Heat tawa, cook on low flame, turning often until golden.

  • Brush with ghee.

🍞 Oven Method

  • Preheat to 180°C.

  • Bake for 20–25 minutes, flipping once.

  • Brush with ghee after baking.


5️⃣ Serving Suggestion

  • Serve hot with Baingan ka Chokha, Tomato Chokha, or Green Chutney.
